Cookie Policy

INTRODUCTION

When you visit Church & Dwight Co. Inc websites (including our subsidiaries’ or our affiliates’ websites), referred to collectively as “the Website”, we may store or retrieve information on your browser, mostly in the form of cookies. This information might be about you, your preferences or your device and is mostly used to make the site work as you expect it to.  In this Cookie Statement, the terms “Church & Dwight,” “we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Company” refer to Church & Dwight Co. Inc and our affiliates and subsidiaries.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device to remember information about you, such as your language preference or login information. Those cookies are set by us and called first party cookies. We also use third party cookies – which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting – for our advertising and marketing efforts. Some cookies allow us to make it easier for you to navigate our Website, while others are used to enable a faster log-in process or to allow us to track your activities at our Website. The following describes the types of cookies and similar technologies we use:

SESSION/PERSISTENT COOKIES

Cookies can be categorized according to how long they are stored for as either "persistent" cookies or "session" cookies. The Website uses both persistent and session cookies.

Session Cookies exist only during an online session. They disappear from your device when you close your browser or turn off your device. We use session cookies to allow our systems to uniquely identify you during a session or while you are logged into the Website. This allows us to process your online transactions and requests and verify your identity after you have logged in, as you move through our Website.

Persistent Cookies remain on your device after you have closed your browser or turned off your device. They are stored by the browser and remain valid until the set expiry date (unless deleted by the user before the expiry date). We use persistent cookies to track aggregate and statistical information about user activity.

OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Clear GIFs, Pixel Tags, and other Technologies. Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on your computer’s hard drive, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web and app pages. We may use clear GIFs (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs or pixel tags) to track Website and app activity, help us manage content, and compile statistics about Website usage. We and our third-party service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML e-mails to track response rates, identify views, and track whether our e-mails are forwarded.

Flash Local Storage Objects (“Flash LSOs”) may be used to store preferences and personalize Website visits. Flash LSOs are different from browser cookies because of the amount and type of data stored. Typically, you cannot control, delete, or disable the acceptance of Flash LSOs through your web browser. To see the Flash LSOs currently on your computer, choose “Website Storage Settings Panel” and follow the instructions to review and delete if desired.

Third Party Ad Networks such as network advertisers, analytics, marketing partners, and others (“third-party ad companies”) are used to personalize content, display Website advertising, and manage our advertising on third-party sites. This enables us and these third parties to tailor advertisements to your interests and may use cookies, pixels tags, and other tools. These third-party cookies and other technologies are governed by each third party’s specific privacy or cookies policy, not this one.

HOW WE USE COOKIES

More specifically, we use cookies and other tracking technologies for the following purposes:
- Assisting you in navigation
- Assisting you in service or website registration, login, and your ability to provide feedback
- Analyzing your use of our Website, products, services, or applications
- Assisting you with our promotional and marketing efforts (including behavioral advertising)

Below is a description of the types of cookies we use on our Website. Click here to obtain more information about cookies.

Strictly Necessary Cookies are necessary for the Website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of the Website, use a shopping cart or make use of e-billing services. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but some parts of the Website will then not work. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information.

Performance Cookies allow us to recognize and count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of the Website. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the Website. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our Website and will not be able to monitor its performance.

We use GA4 Google Analytics tracking code to enable us to see the actions of users on our websites. Whilst no personal information is collected GA4, may retain all/some of the following data about your visit:
- Country or region information

- Browser type

- Pages viewed and activities conducted

- Links clicked
- IP address
- Length of session

- Referring URL for the website

- Language information

- Operating system, name, and version

Functional Cookies enable the Website to provide enhanced functionality and personalization (for example, your choice or region or language). They may be set by us or by third party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, then some or all of these services may not function properly.

We set a persistent cookie called anuhcp_cookie in your browser once our website terms and conditions have been accepted. This cookie will expire and remove itself in 30 days. No personal information is collected or stored, rather it just lets us know that you have accepted our terms and conditions of use, so if you visit our website again in the next 30 days, we don’t keep asking you for permission you’ve already recently granted, etc.

Social Media Cookies are set by a range of social media services that we have added to the Website to enable you to share our content with your friends and networks. They are capable of tracking your browser across other sites and building up a profile of your interests. This may impact the content and messages you see on other websites you visit. If you do not allow these cookies, you may not be able to use or see these sharing tools.
